　　第一步：重述分论点

　　1.写完主题句，你要做的事情，可以先利用paraphrase的方法对主题句进行重复。（重复是一种很好的reasoning方法，但是这里的重复，并不是单单换几个单词换几个词组那么简单）这里讲一种方法，叫做语序颠倒。

　　STEM education provides students with high-paying jobs.

　　第一步：语序颠倒：我们可以把students提到前面来讲，而把STEM放到后面。也就是初步paraphrase应该是：studentswith STEM education can earn high-paying jobs.

　　第二步：同义词替换：还是有点low对不对，此时，你就可以把一些关键词用不同的表达替代了：Talents majored in STEM receive much better salaries than otherpeople in the workplace.在这句话里，老师把students用talents替换，把high paying jobs 用better salaries替换。动词gain换成receive。

　　其实只是做了语序的调整，会比单独同义词替换给读者的感觉，句子变化更大。因此，你的body段展开就有了第二句话：

　　STEM education provides students with high-paying jobs. Talents majored inSTEM receive muchbetter salaries than other people in the workplace.

　　第二步：进行原因结果展开

　　2.对同义转化的句子进行原因结果展开。

　　在这个例题中，你要思考，为什么STEM的学生，收入比其他人收入高。注意这个原因不一定很深入，但是必须要有。我们比较容易想到，工作空缺岗位多，但是应聘者少，市场上供不应求，所以STEM专业的学生收入高。

　　那么我们把这句话，用英文写出来：As students’ interests in STEM declining,     employers in the fields of STEM are having difficulties finding qualified workers   to fill vacancies at their companies. The gap between demandand supply in the     job market impels the employers to figure out better policiesto attract the skilledemployees.

　　注意写到这里，还没有把高薪这个点写出来，只是说企业会用更好的政策去吸引雇员，逻辑不够完整，所以我再加一句话：among those several strategicbenefits, raising wages become the most effective one to attract and retain workers.这样就和高收入对应了。

　　于是我们的body段现在变成（看，它在有逻辑的变长）：

　　STEM education provides students with high-paying jobs.Talents majored in STEM receive much better salaries than other people in theworkplace. Asstudents’ interests in STEM declining, employers in the fields of STEM are havingdifficulties finding qualified workers to fill vacancies at their companies. The gap betweendemand and supply in the job market impels the employers to figure out bettertreatment policies to attract the skilled employees. Among those several strategicbenefits, raising wages become the most effective one to attract and retainworkers.

　　第三步：进行从抽象到具象的发散

　　3.进行从抽象到具象的发散。

　　此时，我们要观察一下第二个步骤里的句子中，哪些成分比较抽象，接下来，我们要把这些抽象名词具象化。我们观察到employers in the fields of stem 这句话是比较抽象的，到底具体哪些领域的公司对STEM的毕业生求贤若渴？

　　vacancy at their company指的是什么岗位？我们可以想到的有：IT公司缺乏编程的员工（俗称码农），制药公司需要新药的研发人员，医院需要医生。要养成看到抽象名词第一时间下意识的就要去写具象细节的习惯。

　　于是我们的body段现在变成（看，它在有逻辑的变长）：

　　STEM education provides students with high-paying jobs.Talents majored in STEM receive much better salaries than other people in theworkplace. Asstudents’ interests in STEM declining, employers in the fields of STEM arehaving difficulties finding qualified workers to fill vacancies at theircompanies. The gap between demand and supply in the job market impels the employersto figure out better treatment policies to attract the skilled employees. Amongthose several strategic benefits, raising wages become the most effective oneto attract and retain workers. Surgeons are in great demands especially in thelarge cities, since the limited clinics can never meet with the increasingpatients. Coders enjoy a much more higher payment than other people withseveral attractive benefits such as retirement savings, health care andflexible work arrangements just because booming economy creates millions of ITcompanies which requires employees with computer background to complete daily task.

　　第四步：增加正反对比论证

　　4.还嫌字数不够，展开不够充分？可以继续增加正反对比论证！

　　正反对比论证可以让议论文的说理变的更加完整。与其单纯论证STEM工作收入高，不如和其他专业的收入进行对比。所以你可以继续接着写，注意，在对比部分老师也使用了因果展开和抽象到具体的展开：

　　on the other hand, since college enrollmentin art and literature have skyrocketed recent years, many students begin tocomplain about the difficulty in finding jobs. （因果）Many traditional mass media companies refuseto accept employees who only major in mass media, instead they prefer those whohave cross－disciplinary experience. （抽象到具象1）For example, ESPN, one of the most reputable TVstation in the United States announces that it will embrace students withcomputer science knowledge to intern here since they need more workers to buildtheir social network service.（再一次抽象到具象）
